Mask Resources short list

I’ve been collecting SO MUCH information and documentation on masks for weeks. Are they helping or hurting? Instead of listing and discussing all the science and opinions available, I found a few great resources – including videos, written summaries, and poetry – for further education and understanding of this complex topic!

The foregoing data show that masks serve more as instruments of obstruction of normal breathing, rather than as effective barriers to pathogens. Therefore, masks should not be used by the general public, either by adults or children, and their limitations as prophylaxis against pathogens should also be considered in medical settings.

By wearing a mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel into the brain.Russell Blaylock, MD

As for the scientific support for the use of face mask, a recent careful examination of the literature, in which 17 of the best studies were analyzed, concluded that, “ None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”1   Keep in mind, no studies have been done to demonstrate that either a cloth mask or the N95 mask has any effect on transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Any recommendations, therefore, have to be based on studies of influenza virus transmission. And, as you have seen, there is no conclusive evidence of their efficiency in controlling flu virus transmission.

A 22 minute video segment from The Highwire with Del Bigtree published on 25 June 2020: ANTI-MASKERS: RIGHT OR SELFISH? As Americans turn against each other over mask mandates, many scientists are speaking out, including former professor of physics at the University of Ottawa, Denis Rancourt, PhD, who just released a paper compiling seven studies on the science surrounding the effectiveness of masks. #AntiMaskers#MasksWork#Coronavirus#Covid19#Health#Lockdown

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.

Denis G. Rancourt is a researcher at the Ontario Civil Liberties Association (OCLA.ca) and is formerly a tenured professor at the University of Ottawa, Canada. This paper was originally published at Rancourt’s account on ResearchGate.net. As of June 5, 2020, this paper was removed from his profile by its administrators at Researchgate.net/profile/D_Rancourt. At Rancourt’s blog ActivistTeacher.blogspot.com, he recounts the notification and responses he received from ResearchGate.net and states, “This is censorship of my scientific work like I have never experienced before.”

Poetry Pause: “Boiling the Frog; It’s Just A Mask” by Forrest Maready

It’s just a mask.
It’s just two weeks.
It’s just non-essential businesses.
It’s just to keep from overwhelming the hospitals.
It’s just until cases go down more.
It’s just to keep others from being scared.
It’s just for a few more weeks.
It’s just communion or singing. You can still meet.
It’s just until we get a vaccine.
It’s just a few side effects.
It’s just a bracelet.
It’s just to let people know you’re safe to be around.
It’s just an app.
It’s just to let others know who you’ve been in contact with.
It’s just a few more months.
It’s just a video.
It’s just an email account.
It’s just for protecting others from hate speech.
It’s just a few people.
It’s just a credit card company. You can use cash.
It’s just a few places that don’t take cash.
It’s just a little chip.
It’s just for medical information and paying for things.
It’s just so you can travel.
It’s just so you can get your driver’s license.
It’s just so you can vote.
It’s just for a few more years.
It’s just a statue.
It’s just a building.
It’s just a song.
It’s just a few words.
It’s just a piece of paper.
It’s just a book.
It’s just a movie.
It’s just a flag.
It’s just a piece of cloth.
It’s just a blood test.
It’s just a scan.
It’s just a chip.
It’s just a dog.
It’s just a clump of cells.
It’s just the bad people.
It’s just the undesirables.
It’s just the Jews.
It’s just the men.
It’s just the Christians.
It’s just the people that don’t think like we do.
It’s just… wait…
It’s not just a mask

From an 8 minute video on Fear and Social Control:

“What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with Hitler, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it.”–from Chapter 13, “But Then It Was Too Late”

Some of my personal thoughts on mask wearing

There isn't a mask BIG enough to protect us from everything going on in this world. We all need to put on the full armor of God!

How about you? Do you have thoughts about the big mask push? Do you have some great succinct persuasive resources to share? Thank you for your comments and contribution to this discussion.
